Gonca Altıntaş to lead Trouw Nutrition Turkey

Gonca Altıntaş, who started working as Turkey Operations Director at Trouw Nutrition Turkey last year, has been appointed as the general manager of the company. In the statement made by the company, it was stated that the change of duty implemented as of June 15 will accelerate the investment targets.

Operating with 100 years of experience under Nutreco, a member of the SHV Family of Companies, Trouw Nutrition Turkey has appointed the new general manager. As of June 15, 2023, Gonca Altıntaş, who has served as Operations Director until then, would lead the Turkish operation.

Gonca Altıntaş graduated from Haydarpaşa High School in 1998 and received her bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering from the Middle East Technical University. Her career started as a sales specialist and continued successfully under the roof of Turkey’s leading brands, gaining experience in critical areas such as production, quality assurance, import, export and purchasing, supply chain management, SAP and internal audit. Gonca Altıntaş, who has knowledge and experience in many areas such as creating effective business policies, purchasing strategies, cost-saving process improvements, project management, started to work as Trouw Nutrition Turkey Operations Director in 2022.

The statement made on the company’s social media account went on, “We believe that this change of duty will accelerate our goals of being present in our country’s market and investing in the near future. We are pleased to announce this special step in our journey dedicated to sustainability and creating added value.”

Last month, Trouw Nutrition Turkey’s previous general manager, Öğüt Köse, has announced his resignation from the company.
