Claudio Cervellati takes on pivotal role at Nutreco as CSCO

Claudio Cervellati steps into a pivotal role as Nutreco's first Chief Supply Chain Officer, marking a renewed commitment to sustainable, efficient operations in the feed industry.

In a strategic move to strengthen its global operations, Nutreco has announced Claudio Cervellati's appointment to the newly created position of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO). This role addition also welcomes Cervellati to Nutreco’s Management Board.

Claudio's transition to Nutreco in December 2022 followed tenure as Managing Director at global consultancy Alvarez and Marsal. His vast experience spans leadership roles across the agrochemical, chemical, and construction sectors, where he drove business transformations and managed mergers.

As CSCO, Cervellati will oversee global sustainability, procurement, quality, and operations, unifying the Nutreco supply chain. Nutreco's CEO, Fulco van Lede, voiced his confidence, saying, “I’m delighted that Claudio is taking the helm of this important group of functions within Nutreco.”

On his appointment, Cervellati commented, “It is an honor to take on this new challenge at Nutreco. I’m excited about the contributions we can bring to our purpose of Feeding the Future.”

This appointment underscores Nutreco's commitment to enhancing its supply chain operations, emphasizing sustainability's pivotal role in the modern feed industry.
