Nevedi, the powerhouse representing 95% of livestock feed production in the Netherlands, is set to enhance collective advocacy by officially joining FND on January 1, 2024.
In a strategic alliance to amplify collective advocacy in the animal feed sector, Nevedi is poised to become a member of the Federatie Nederlandse Diervoederketen (FND) from the outset of 2024. This collaborative move builds upon existing partnerships on critical industry themes and aims to augment the impact of advocacy initiatives.
Nevedi, comprising 88 animal feed companies from small family-owned businesses to multinational giants, plays a pivotal role in supplying feed for livestock, including mixtures for cows, chickens, pigs, and other agricultural animals. The organization employs nearly 5,500 people across the Netherlands.
Caroline Emmen, FND Chairperson, underscores the importance of unifying sector organizations under FND's banner to streamline operations and bolster the collective impact of advocacy efforts. Henk Flipsen, Director of Nevedi, emphasizes the shared goal of efficient collaboration for heightened advocacy effectiveness.
