The technical seminar organized by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) Türkiye in Istanbul brought together stakeholders from across the feed industry. The event covered a wide range of topics, from soybean processing technologies to AI-powered formulation. Key issues shaping the future of the sector were addressed through expert presentations.

USSEC’s Türkiye office convened feed industry representatives at a technical seminar held on April 2–3 at Swissôtel The Bosphorus. The event highlighted current topics such as full-fat soybean processing technologies, sustainability, and protein quality. Discussions also explored in detail the quality advantages of U.S. soybeans, carbon footprint considerations, and AI-supported feed formulation. Presentations focused on content that sheds light on the sector’s technical and commercial transformation.
During the program, Mian N. Riaz shared his experience in extrusion technologies, while Kees Geerse provided insights into global market and feeding dynamics. Guillermo Fondevila presented recent research in monogastric nutrition, and Arpad Zsok addressed technological developments in feed formulation software.

The event stood out in terms of knowledge exchange and collaboration opportunities aimed at integrating U.S. soybeans into the Turkish feed industry.
While USSEC operates globally to promote the use of U.S. soybeans, it aims to enhance information flow among industry stakeholders through such technical events held in Türkiye.
