The German Association for Animal Nutrition (DVT) has published its 2025/26 annual figures, revealing that German compound feed production increased by nearly 3% in 2025 to reach approximately 22.5 million tonnes. Growth across poultry, swine, and cattle feed sectors occurred alongside structural consolidation among feed mills, rising utilization of circular co-products, and a declining share of traditional grains in formulations.

FEFAC market experts forecast continued stability in the EU compound feed production market for 2026. The total industrial compound feed production in the EU27 is expected to reach 152 million tonnes, marking a marginal decrease of 0.06% compared to 2025.

According to the latest data shared by the Turkish Feed Manufacturers’ Association (TÜRKİYEMBİR), Türkiye’s compound feed production rose by 4.8% in 2025, reaching 30.7 million tons. The strongest growth was recorded in cattle and sheep feed, while poultry and aquafeed saw more modest increases.

The EU compound feed production is forecast to grow by 0.5% in 2024, reaching 147 million tons. Poultry feed shows notable recovery, while pig and cattle feed sectors face varied pressures.
