According to the latest data shared by the Turkish Feed Manufacturers’ Association (TÜRKİYEMBİR), Türkiye’s compound feed production rose by 4.8% in 2025, reaching 30.7 million tons. The strongest growth was recorded in cattle and sheep feed, while poultry and aquafeed saw more modest increases.
TÜRKİYEMBİR released the 2025 compound feed production figures, showing a total output up 4.8% compared to the previous year. By feed type, the highest production was 18.2 million tons in cattle and sheep feed, reflecting a 6.3% increase. Poultry feed production reached 11.2 million tons, with a 2.6% rise, while aquafeed totaled 833 thousand tons, marking a limited 1% growth. Other feed categories grew fastest proportionally, increasing 14.4% to 464 thousand tons.
These compound feed production figures provide a key indicator of trends in animal production, the impacts of drought and foot-and-mouth disease outbreaks, demand for feed raw materials, and sector expectations for 2026.
With its production hovering near 30 million tons in recent years, Türkiye surpasses many European Union countries in compound feed output.
