Anne Marie Quéméner, Space Exhibition Manager, was invested with a knighthood of the National Order of Merit by Michèle Kirry, Prefect of the Brittany region, on Friday 14 June at the Hôtel de la Préfecture in Rennes. This decoration is a recognition of Anne Marie Quéméner’s long-standing career and commitment to Space, as the Prefect stressed during the ceremony: “You devote your energy to Space on a daily basis and it is thanks to what you do, your tenacity, and the work carried out in close collaboration with Jean-Michel Lemétayer, that the Breton livestock show has become an event known and renowned throughout the world.” Surrounded by her family and employees, Anne Marie Quéméner warmly thanked all those who strive every year to make the show a success. She also reminded the audience of Space’s mission, and that the purpose of the show will always be to serve the interests of exhibitors “by being a resource for livestock farmers”.
