Yemmak, Turkey's leading feed machinery manufacturer, declared that they gave weight to the domestic market under pandemic conditions while the borders have been closed and simultaneously maintained their leadership in exports. Yemmak Vice General Manager Halil Yırtımcı announced that according to the 2020 reports of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and Exporters' Associations, Yemmak is the export leader of the sector. He is stating that Yemmak has the highest market share both regionally and throughout Turkey and maintained its position as the export leader in its sector. Yırtımcı said, “Despite the pandemic conditions in which the global supply chain was disrupted, we maintained our strong position in exports. Yemmak, the first manufacturer of the private sector in the production of feed machinery in Turkey, has become the export champion of its sector in 2020, as it has been for years." Highlighting the significance of exports in Turkey's development, Yırtımcı said, "While exports in many sectors decreased 20 percent on a foreign currency basis, this rate was limited to 4.5% in overall machinery and accessories exports."
