Limagrain Ingredients changes name for internationalization

Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients, an international agricultural cooperative group founded and managed by French farmers, decided to change its name into Limagrain Ingredients. The company announced that the name change will apply to all its entities and reflect the internationalization of its activities.

The business unit of Limagrain group dedicated to ingredients, will change its name from Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients into Limagrain Ingredients. This name change will apply to all its entities, including Unicorn Grain Specialties BV and Unicorn Grain Specialties GmbH, the two entities that joined Limagrain Ingredients last year. Limagrain is an international agricultural cooperative group founded and managed by French farmers. It distributes field seeds, vegetable seeds and cereal products. The company declared that the name change will reflect the internationalization of its activities. Today its ingredients are sold in 58 countries generating a turnover close to €150 million. More than 330 thousand tons of grain is processed each year produced in seven production plants across Europe. Moreover, even if cereals remain the core raw materials, growth could come also from other grain families in the future: legumes and other plant proteins. All production processes within the company ensure 100% natural products with distinct functionalities. Whether we talk about milling, heat treatment, pressure cooking, extruding, etc., there are no chemical treatments within the company. Limagrain Ingredients sell its products to 6 international application markets; Bakery, Culinary, Snacks, Breakfast Cereals, Pet food & horses and Young Animals (Piglets & Calves).
