De Heus Animal Nutrition has inaugurated a new feed production facility in Athi River, Kenya, with an annual capacity of 240,000 metric tons. The USD 23 million-investment strengthens the company’s footprint in East Africa and adds substantial industrial feed capacity to the Kenyan livestock sector.

Lezita Abalıoğlu is preparing to establish an integrated broiler production facility in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye,with an investment of approximately €130 million. The investment represents a key pillar of the company’s growth strategy, targeting not only the Turkish market but also exports to the Middle East.

Rising energy costs pushed an American feed producer to go solar. The Maschhoffs announced that its main feed mill adopted solar energy to meet electricity needs.

AB Agri announced that it will open a new feed mill in Shaanxi Province, China. Tongchuan facility is China’s second largest facility and AB Agri’s ninth production site in the country.

Scoular announced that it acquired grain and feed facilities in Florida to better serve its customers in the region. The purchase includes feed ingredient and grain handling facilities, storage space and a feed mill.
