TMO sold imported barley and corn

TMO which makes efforts to balance domestic markets imported 77 thousand tons of barley and 62 thousand tons of corn and sold at internal market.

Turkish Grain Board (TMO) imported 77 thousand tons of barley and 62 thousand tons of corn in order to meet the demand of the sector that are using barley and corn as an effort to ensure domestic market equilibrium. Imported barley was shipped to ports of Iskenderun, Mersin, Samsun, and Trabzon and corn to Bandirma, Izmir, Samsun, and Tekirdag. After being nationalized, imported barley was sold to consumers such as breeders, companies that produce the feed they need and feed plants for 810 TL/ton (VAT excluded). Corn was also sold to breeders, companies that produce the feed they need and feed, farina, semolina plants for 820 TL/ton (VAT excluded) which was the cash sale price.
