At a joint Grain Sector Consultation Meeting hosted by the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), Agriculture Minister İbrahim Yumaklı announced that Turkey is approaching the end of a bumper harvest season with expectations of the highest crop yield in the Republic’s history.

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat affirmed that there are no supply-side bottlenecks in agricultural commodities following favorable precipitation and consistent agricultural policies, noting that both ministries are working in close coordination to maintain healthy market conditions.
During the session, TMO Chairman and General Manager Ahmet Güldal delivered a comprehensive presentation covering 2026 purchasing operations, field management, and market regulation activities. Food and Control Director General Ersin Dilber outlined regulatory and inspection frameworks. The meeting concluded with input and policy recommendations from leadership at the National Grain Council (UHK), the Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation (TUSAF), and Grain Exporters' Associations regarding domestic and international market dynamics.
