Novus, the intelligent nutrition company, has named Rajeev Murthy as Senior Director and Managing Director for Asia, signaling a strategic move to bolster its presence and strategic initiatives in the vital Asian market.

Novus, the global animal nutrition company, has appointed Rajeev Murthy as Senior Director and Managing Director for Asia, effective this month. Murthy brings a wealth of industry experience, having held regional leadership roles at dsm-firmenich and Eli Lilly & Company, among others.

In his new role, Murthy will lead Novus' strategic initiatives in Asia, focusing on customer profitability and providing solutions closer to the customer base. According to Ed Galo, Sr. Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Novus, Murthy's track record for driving commercial success and talent development makes him an ideal fit for the position.

Murthy, originally from Bangalore, India, expresses his dedication to the animal agriculture industry, stating, "I’ve made it my life’s career for the difference one can make in improving access to healthy and safe protein."

With a focus on supporting poultry, swine, and dairy producers in Asia, Murthy emphasizes the importance of customer profitability and sustainability. He notes, "For poultry, driving profitable growth while being mindful of changing customer needs where sustainability and antibiotic use are concerned is important."

Murthy's appointment aligns with Novus' goal of delivering tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of the global animal agriculture industry. As part of this commitment, Murthy will be based out of Novus' office in Bangkok, Thailand.
