The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) has partnered with BASF to provide scholarships, encompassing three programs catering to students at various academic levels. These include the Technical School/Community College Scholarship, the NCGA William C. Berg Academic Excellence Scholarship, and the Graduate Student Scholarship.


The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) of the United States has established partnerships with BASF to initiate scholarship programs aimed at supporting the education of future leaders in agriculture. The three distinct scholarship programs cover technical school and community college students, offering five $1,000 scholarships, while undergraduate students pursuing degrees in any field can apply for five $1,500 scholarships. Additionally, the Graduate Student Scholarship Program awards two $2,500 scholarships to graduate students contributing to the corn industry's advancement. Nebraska grower and NCGA Membership and Consumer Engagement Action Team Chair, Dan Nerud, emphasized the organization's commitment to providing opportunities for students dedicated to serving and uplifting American farm families.
