Lezita Abalıoğlu is preparing to establish an integrated broiler production facility in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye, with an investment of approximately €130 million. The investment represents a key pillar of the company’s growth strategy, targeting not only the Turkish market but also exports to the Middle East. The project covers feed mill, hatchery and slaughterhouse investments.

Operating with a daily processing capacity of 450,000 broilers at its facilities in Kemalpaşa, İzmir, Lezita has chosen Kahramanmaraş for its new investment. Within the scope of the project, the feed mill and hatchery investments will be implemented in district, while the slaughterhouse will be built in the Dulkadiroğlu district. The facility is planned to start production in the final quarter of this year, reaching a daily processing capacity of 100,000 broilers in the first phase and 200,000 in the second phase.
The company aims to work with 250 growers in the initial stage for broilers to be processed at the facilities and to support contract growers in making poultry house investments totaling approximately 600,000 square meters. The feed mill is planned to use corn and wheat sourced from regional producers, with the goal of positioning Kahramanmaraş as a “broiler production and export hub.”

Lezita Abalıoğlu General Manager Mesut Ergül stated that the investment will increase both production capacity and export strength, emphasizing that proximity to Middle Eastern markets offers a strategic advantage.
To support the Kahramanmaraş investment, Lezita has also completed a breeder farm investment in Niğde province. The company aims to increase its total production capacity by 50 percent by the final quarter of next year.
