Anton Paar, Austrian laboratory technology leader, was awarded the Global Player Award at this year’s Export Award Gala, organized by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) in June in Vienna. This award is presented annually to Austria's leading companies that hold a distinguished position in the global market and make significant contributions to internationalization. The Global Player Award is the only special prize awarded this year.

Austrian embassies around the world were asked to nominate companies they believed deserved this award. The selection criteria included market leadership, being a role model, and sustainability.

Factors such as export ratio, the number of international branches, social commitment, and sustainable entrepreneurship were also taken into account. Meeting all the criteria, Anton Paar received the award at the ceremony held at the Vienna Hofburg. The company stated, “A big thank you to all employees worldwide who have contributed to Anton Paar being recognized as a global player.”
