IGC to host the pulse of global grain markets

The International Grains Council (IGC) is set to host its 34th annual Grains Conference on 10–11 June 2025 at the prestigious Institute of Directors in London. Under the theme “New Horizons: Charting the Future Direction of Global Trade,” this two-day event promises to be a pivotal gathering for stakeholders across the global grains value chain.

As a cornerstone of London Grains Week, the IGC Grains Conference serves as a global platform for dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders, and stakeholders. The conference aims to address the pressing challenges, emerging risks, and burgeoning opportunities within the international grain trade. Key discussion topics will include trade finance, biodiversity, port connectivity, and the dynamics of grain trade, with a particular focus on trade opportunities in Africa and the Middle East.

Established in 1949, the International Grains Council is an intergovernmental organization comprising 56 member countries. The IGC aims to promote international cooperation in grain trade, enhance market stability, and contribute to global food security through information-sharing, analysis, and consultation on market and policy developments.
