The Turkish Mill and Sector Machinery Manufacturers Association (DESMÜD) held its Ordinary General Assembly in Konya, bringing together industry representatives. Incumbent president Zeki Demirtaşoğlu was unanimously re-elected, reinforcing his leadership with a strong vote of confidence.

During the assembly, the association’s activity reports and financial statements were thoroughly reviewed. The election process also determined the new term’s management, audit, and ethics boards. Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, re-elected as president, will continue his work alongside the newly appointed management board members.

In his acceptance speech, Demirtaşoğlu expressed gratitude, stating, “We will continue to work together in unity to build a stronger future for our industry.”

The meeting concluded with members exchanging ideas on goals for the upcoming term. DESMÜD aims to strengthen sectoral collaboration, promote knowledge and experience sharing, and enhance the global competitiveness of domestic manufacturers in the coming period.
