EW Nutrition has announced a
phased plan to increase its stake in GRASP to full ownership over the next four
years, strengthening their long-standing partnership and supporting GRASP’s
continued operations and growth in Brazil. The move aims to enhance global
market presence while ensuring operational continuity.
Visbek and Curitiba-based EW Nutrition and GRASP have agreed on a new strategic arrangement that will see EW Nutrition gradually expand its ownership in GRASP from its current majority position to full ownership by the end of 2029. The transition will be implemented in stages to maintain business continuity and support GRASP’s ongoing activities and development plans in Brazil.
The companies described the agreement as a natural progression of their collaboration, which began in 2011 when EW Nutrition first became a majority shareholder. The strengthened ownership structure is intended to align long-term growth strategies and reinforce EW Nutrition’s position in the global animal nutrition market.
GRASP’s portfolio includes solutions for toxin mitigation under the Mastersorb brand and gut health management under Activo, along with other widely recognized products in the industry. The company will continue to operate with its existing team, maintaining its focus on product quality and innovation.
“We are excited to deepen our investment in GRASP and its exceptional team, products, and operations in Brazil,” said Jan Vanbrabant. Alysson Hoffmann Pegoraro added that the agreement will support continued innovation and further expand GRASP’s global footprint.
