ASM Process Automation, a leading industrial automation provider in the Gulf region, has selected Zambia as the entry point for its long-term expansion across the African continent. Operating from the capital city of Lusaka, the company aims to deliver Industry 4.0, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and OPC UA solutions to local processing and industrial facilities. By offering open automation platforms supported by local engineering technical teams, ASM seeks to accelerate digital transformation in regional plants. Sales operations and regional partnerships will be managed by newly appointed Lusaka Sales Manager, Agatha Nayame.
Commenting on the philosophy behind the expansion, Ali Magboul, the CEO of ASM Process Automation highlighted that the company’s core mission centers on knowledge transfer and fostering a culture of openness. Emphasizing that ASM avoids locking clients into complex, proprietary systems, Magboul stated: "Our goal is not merely to claim we are the best, but to share knowledge, mentor engineers, and ensure plant teams fully understand and own their systems. By educating and empowering our clients, we aim to raise the overall technical capabilities of our industry."

Established in Saudi Arabia in 2007, ASM Process Automation brings nearly two decades of expertise in industrial process automation and stands as one of only two accredited Siemens Solution Partners in Saudi Arabia. Driven by its commitment to engineering excellence, the company continues to enhance automation infrastructure and drive cost-effective digital transformation for industrial facilities across the Gulf region.
