Ukraine’s weekly grain export was about 1.3 million metric tons carrying the total amount for the marketing year to 30.1 million metric tons.
Ukraine exported almost 1.3 million metric tons of grain last week. With this amount the total weight for the marketing year reached 30.1 million metric tons. However, this figure is still 20.5% below the last year’s
total exports.
In spite of adverse weather conditions that slow loadings and transport arrivals in the ports, corn exports increased by 52% on a weekly basis to 657,000 tons. Aggregate corn exports stand at 12.5 million tons, which is 28% lower than the same period of the last marketing year. Wheat exports were stable at 101 thousand tons, bringing the total shipment figure to 13.2 million tons.
Barley export was almost zero once again. Corresponding total marketing year exports is just below almost 4 million tons, which is 1% higher than the previous year.
