Türkiye launches €30 million IPARD III call for agri-food processing and storage investments

The latest call under the IPARD III program will support investments in dairy, meat, egg, fruit and vegetable, and fisheries processing facilities, as well as milk collection centers and cold storage infrastructure. With a budget of €30 million, the scheme is aimed at strengthening processing and marketing capacity across the agri-food value chain.

Türkiye has launched the 11th call for applications under the IPARD III program, with a total budget of €30 million allocated to investments in the processing and marketing of agricultural and fisheries products.

Eligible projects include dairy, meat, egg, fruit and vegetable, and fisheries processing facilities. Milk collection centers and cold storage facilities are also covered under the support scheme.

Commenting on the new call, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı said: “The 11th call for applications under the IPARD III Programme, with a budget of €30 million, has been published today. Under the measure for the Processing and Marketing of Agricultural and Fisheries Products, we will support dairy, meat, egg, fruit and vegetable, and fisheries processing facilities, milk collection centers, and cold storage facilities.”

The program is designed to support investments that improve processing, storage and marketing infrastructure, helping strengthen links between primary agricultural production and the food industry.

IPARD (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance for Rural Development) is the European Union’s rural development support mechanism for candidate countries. In Türkiye, the program is implemented by the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) and aims to enhance competitiveness across the agri-food value chain while encouraging investment in rural areas.
