The Turkish Feed Industrialists Association (Türkiyem-Bir) held its 39th Ordinary General Assembly electronically on April 10, 2025. At the end of the meeting, Murat Ülkü Karakuş was re-elected as chairman of the board.
The newly elected principal board includes Ülkü Karakuş, Bekir Taşkaldıran, Önder Matlı, Zeki Zorbaz, Mevlüt Solmaz, Nihat Öztürk, Aykut Müftüoğlu, İpek Üstündağ, M. Musa Özgüçlü, Nedim Nar, A. Behiç Salt, M. Ali Tekin, Nuri Büyükselçuk, Akif Coşkun, and M. Sinan Çakmak.
The alternate board members are E. Şükrü Başyazıcıoğlu, M. Ali Çelikten, H. Özkan Sarışen, Fatih Duğancı, A. Korcan Boya, İsmail Ertonga, Gürkan Güray, Erdoğan Alkan, Abdullah Tepe, Cengiz Gökçe, Hasan Eşmeli, İ. Ufuk Erten, Mustafa Topal, Turget Ünver, Lokman Çatalçam.
The Supervisory Board was also renewed. The newly elected principal members are Muharrem Sarıaslan, Kazım Küçükçöğen, Mehmet Karakol. Alternates include Zühal Daştan, Gülfer Girit, and Mehmet Ersöz. The Discipline Board comprises Dr. Sait Koca, Yaman Akiş, Dr. M. Ali Tanör, and their alternates Enver Arslan and Yüksel Gümüş.
The association expressed its appreciation for members’ participation and wished success to all elected officials in their new term.
Established in 1974, Türkiyem-Bir is the sole national representative of Türkiye’s compound feed industry, representing 162 factories that produce 85% of the country’s total output. The association
is a member of the "International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF)" and an associate member of the "European Feed Manufacturers' Federation (FEFAC)".
