The Turkish Grain Board (TMO)
has updated its 2024–2025 crop grain sales prices effective today (April 1,
2026). The institution stated that sales will continue in a planned manner and
no further price changes will be made until the new harvest season.
The Turkish Grain Board, which plays a regulatory role in Türkiye’s grain markets, has moved to a new phase in its sales program that has been ongoing for around six months without any price increases since it began in October 2025. The institution announced that as of April 1, 2026, sales prices for 2024–2025 crop products have been revised.
TMO also stated that the sale of approximately 1.3 million tons of stock comprising 2023 crop domestic wheat and high-protein imported wheat will continue at current price levels until the new harvest season. It was noted that these stocks, located mainly in central regions, provide logistical advantages to the sector and support the efficient use of storage capacity.
Taking the upcoming harvest period into account, the price adjustment is intended to ensure a smooth transition for producers, processors and overall market balance. It was also emphasized that the measure aims to prevent newly harvested products from being redirected back to TMO.
TMO operates as a public institution responsible for ensuring supply security in grain markets, maintaining price stability and supporting a balanced market structure.
