As field operations continue for the 2026 season in Russia, the world's leading wheat exporter, total grain production has surpassed the 120 million ton threshold. In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, it was announced that wheat production accounts for 90 million tons of the overall harvest. While the volume harvested is more than sufficient to cover domestic consumption at full capacity, logistical constraints at Black Sea and Sea of Azov ports continue to slow down the pace at which this high yield is converted into exports.

South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG) has issued an international tender to purchase up to 140,000 tons of animal feed wheat, European traders said.

The deadline for submission of price offers is 15 June, they said. The wheat is sought for arrival in South Korea in October and November.
