The Neuss-based machine manufacturer Reinartz is now part of the Kahl Group, strengthening its expertise in separation technology for alternative proteins, biomass processing, and mechanical drying. The acquisition enhances synergies in feed and food production while retaining Reinartz’s independence.
Reinartz GmbH & Co. KG, a leader in screw presses and filtration systems for vegetable oil extraction and insect protein processing, has merged with the Kahl Group. The deal expands Kahl’s capabilities in sustainable feed and biomass solutions while keeping Reinartz’s operations and workforce intact.
The move creates new opportunities in alternative proteins, biowaste processing, and oilseed pressing—key areas for feed innovation. Reinartz will collaborate closely with Kahl subsidiaries like Amandus Kahl (feed pelleting) and Schule Mühlenbau (grain milling) to optimize ingredient processing. Niklas Stadermann, Reinartz’s new co-managing director, stated: “Together with the Kahl Group, we want to develop new strategic partnerships, expand our distribution channels, and enter new markets.”
Uwe Wehrmann, CEO of the Kahl Group, emphasized Reinartz’s cultural fit, citing shared values of reliability and long-term growth. The integration strengthens Kahl’s portfolio, which includes Devex (feed mills) and Neuhaus Neotec (food processing).
With Reinartz’s 170-year legacy in separation technology, the merger positions Kahl as a stronger player in sustainable feed and food production systems worldwide.
