Imas commissions Zimbabwe’s first fully automated feed mill

Imas, a leading Turkish brand in grain and feed milling systems, has completed a 10 tph turnkey feed milling facility for Agri-Milling Stockfeeds in Zimbabwe. The opening ceremony of the country's first fully automated feed plant was attended by Zimbabwe’s President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Agri-Milling, operating under Davipel Holdings, is a growing agricultural processing brand in Zimbabwe: Agri-Milling’s maize milling product portfolio includes maize meal, instant porridges, and corn snacks, etc. whereas the brand’s stockfeed division produces feed for a wide range of animal species including road runners, broilers, layers, pigs, rabbits, beef and dairy cattle.

The company keeps on contributing to the regional production and employment in Zimbabwe every day with important investments: The opening ceremony of Agri-Milling’s new feed mill and snack manufacturing plants in Harare city was held on the August 5, 2026. Zimbabwe President Mnangagwa was also participated to the ceremony, applauding the company's growing market share, job creation and integrated value chain model.

Taking a part in Agri-Milling’s investment projects, Imas was also invited to the ceremony in Zimbabwe. Representing the company, Muhammed Uzun (Sales and Marketing Director) and Murat Cengiz (Sales Manager, Feed Milling Technologies Division) attended to the ceremony, congratulated Agri-Milling management for the inauguration of their new projects, also forwarded wishes for the brand’s continued success and growth. This feed mill project also demonstrates the manufacturing and engineering capabilities of Imas, as well as delivering turnkey solutions across different geographies.


END-TO-END SOLUTION PARTNERSHIP

Also, the steel building of the feed mill plant was completely designed, manufactured, and constructed by Imas. 


THE FIRST FULLY AUTOMATED FEED MILL IN ZIMBABWE

Agri-Mill’s new feed mill plant is managed via a central automation system, which allows integrated monitoring of the entire process from the intake to the packaging. The system provides real-time data on production quantities, yields, and consumption, etc. ensuring efficiency as well as an enhanced operational transparency.

The latest automation technology in the plant even allows Imas after-sales team to connect to the plant remotely at any time for technical support including assistance, troubleshooting, and check up, etc.
