IDMA aims to bring professional visitors from more than 140 countries to Istanbul as the Turkish feed and flour milling machinery industry prepares to showcase its manufacturing strength and export performance on a global stage. The event, scheduled to take place this June, is positioned as a strategic meeting point that promises new markets, new partnerships and a strong international network for the sector.
One of the flagship gatherings for the flour industry, the TUSAF 20th International Congress and Exhibition brought together all stakeholders across the sector, from production to exports, in Antalya, while Muhammet Ali Kalkan, Chairman of the Board of IDMA (International Flour, Feed, Corn, Semolina, Rice, Bulghur Milling Machinery & Pulses, Pasta, Biscuit Technologies Exhibition), delivered key messages on behalf of the event’s main sponsor. Kalkan emphasized that congresses have evolved beyond sector-specific meetings into platforms fostering strong solidarity and lasting professional relationships, noting that the cooperation with the TUSAF community has played a major role in IDMA’s journey as an international brand. He highlighted that support from Turkish industrialists, particularly at overseas fairs, has strengthened the organization’s global growth, pointing specifically to the strong interest shown by sector representatives at the most recent IDMA Russia event.

Underlining that IDMA is today the only Türkiye-based international fair organized in different countries under the same brand name, Kalkan stated that the events serve not only as commercial platforms but also as strategic tools that enhance the export capacity of Türkiye’s milling machinery industry. He added that IDMA will continue to take Turkish manufacturers to new markets through new destinations, and that this approach contributes directly to sector exports.
