Arma İlaç Hektaş decided to acquire Arma İlaç, which produces veterinary medicinal products in the period when the importance of animal health as well as human health increased with Covid-91, and Australian Agriventis Technologies, which developed seeds that are tolerant to drought, which is one of the consequences of global climate change. In the statement made by Hektaş to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that all shares of Arma İlaç and 51 percent of Agreventis will be acquired. The share transfer prices of both companies will be determined by independent valuation institutions. Arma İlaç Hektaş, OYAK's Agriculture and Animal Husbandry company, plans to undertake two strategic investments, namely "drought" due to global climate change affecting the whole world and "animal health", which stands out with Covid-19. Hektaş decided to acquire Agriventis Technologies Pty Ltd, an Australian venture capital company which is developing seeds that need less water and are compatible with all climatic conditions, and Arma İlaç, which produces veterinary medical products in the field of animal health. Getting prepared to enter the global league with two strategic investments, Hektaş has informed KAP of its decision to incorporate 51 percent of Agriventis shares and Arma İlaç as a whole. The acquisition will be completed after the share transfer prices of both companies are determined by independent valuation institutions. Agriventis Arma İlaç has an annual production capacity of 11 million boxes. Hektaş aims to enrich its veterinary medical product portfolio through collaborations with Arma İlaç and research and development activities, and will focus on increasing its strength in the field of animal health and its share in both domestic and international markets. Hektaş will speed up its work in the field of animal health in 2021.
