Registration is now open for the 31st FEFAC Congress, which will take place on 20 May 2026 in Bucharest. Organized together with Romania’s ANFNC, the three-day program will convene European feed sector leaders for discussions on market trends, policy shifts and the future of livestock production in a circular bioeconomy.
The event begins on 19 May with the 13th ANFNC Annual Conference, “Feed & Foresight 2026 – Vision and Innovation Driving the Future of the Sustainable Feed and Meat Industry in Europe.” Delegates registering for the Congress will also have access to the ANFNC sessions, welcome reception and festive dinner, creating a platform for informal exchanges with policymakers, researchers and industry stakeholders.

The main Congress on 20 May will explore the theme “European livestock sector – Quo Vadis?” against the backdrop of the EU’s forthcoming long-term livestock strategy. Speakers from EU institutions and leading value chain organizations will address trade developments, innovation in animal nutrition and policy incentives to support circular feeding practices. Pierre Bascou of the European Commission will deliver the keynote for the agricultural markets panel, joined by high-level contributors including COPA-COGECA’s Elli Tsiforou and DG SANTE’s Koen van Dyck.

On 21 May, delegates may join a field visit to Constanța Port, hosted by Cargill, or tour Bunge’s oilseed crushing facility to gain insights into logistics, processing and operational improvements within the feed supply chain.
Founded in 1959, FEFAC represents national feed associations across Europe and plays a central role in EU policy dialogue on feed safety, sustainability and competitiveness.
