EW Nutrition acquires majority stake in gut health innovator Green Innovation

The German animal nutrition firm has purchased 52% of Austria-based Green Innovation, strengthening its in-feed gut health portfolio. The deal includes patents, brands, and team integration, marking EW Nutrition’s fourth acquisition in five years.

EW Nutrition has acquired a 52% stake in Green Innovation, an Austrian company specializing in patented in-feed solutions for gut health. Signed in March in Innsbruck, the deal brings new technologies, brands, and expertise into the German company’s portfolio.

The acquisition adds innovative products to EW Nutrition’s existing lineup. “With the addition of Green Innovation’s solutions, we see a great opportunity to complete our gut health portfolio and to position ourselves for the future,” said EW Nutrition CEO Jan Vanbrabant. “Challenges are evolving and so our solutions must evolve as well.”

Green Innovation’s customers will continue to receive full support, while its assets and market presence transition under EW Nutrition’s umbrella. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
