The animal production exhibition EuroTier in Hanover, Germany will be postponed to February 2021 due to the uncertainty mainly caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition was planned to take place 17-20 November this year.
Eurotier, which is considered as the bigger animal production exhibition, is postponed by the organizer company because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The fair company German Agricultural Society (DLG) announced in an official statement that the new date is determined as 9-12 February of 2021.
“In view of the continuing uncertainty surrounding the overall international situation in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, DLG cannot foresee that it will be possible to conduct EuroTier and EnergyDecentral as leading international trade fairs in a form that is appropriate for exhibitors and visitors this year,” said the statement revealed by the organizers.
The DLG also expressed that the decision to postpone the fair was taken in close coordination with both of the trade fairs’ expert advisory boards and in the interest of exhibitors and visitors. Their international image (in terms of both exhibitors and visitors) was what makes the exhibitions a global meeting point for market shareholders, DLG underlined.
The company stated that postponing the organization will be the best both for the exhibitors and the visitors in terms of planning and preparation in this uncertain period. And they added that this decision will ensure that the exhibition will live up to its reputation as leading international trade fair.
