CPM has unveiled its groundbreaking Direct Drive pellet mill, the PM1200DD, at LIGNA 2025 in Hannover. Engineered for high-capacity biomass processing, the new technology promises unmatched energy efficiency, durability, and performance.

Designed for demanding applications, this innovative pellet mill is built to handle the toughest pelleting requirements, offering unmatched energy efficiency, performance, and reliability.
The new CPM Direct Drive pellet mill is engineered to process a wide range of biomass feedstocks, including agricultural residues and woody biomass. Unlike conventional systems, the Direct Drive technology eliminates the need for a gearbox or V-belt, making it the most advanced and energy-efficient pellet mill ever introduced to the market.

CPM retained FutureMetrics, the leading consultancy firm in the wood pellet sector, to analyze CPM's Direct Drive pellet mill onsite at a customer facility in October 2024.
