Cotecna, provider of testing, inspection and certification services, announced that it has acquired Extensive Standard Technical Services Co., Ltd. ESTS, a third-party certification body and second-party audit firm, specializing in social compliance, sustainability, green and low carbon initiatives, food safety, and quality systems. The acquisition of ESTS allows Cotecna to reinforce its presence in the field of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) assurance and training services. "This acquisition will accelerate our capability building in ESG assurance services in China and in Asia," Sébastien Dannaud, CEO of Cotecna said.
