Cullman succeeds Ruud Tijssens, who led IFIF from 2022 to 2025. In her acceptance remarks, she thanked members for their trust and underlined IFIF’s unifying role: “It is a privilege to serve at a time when collaboration and science-based solutions are more essential than ever. IFIF brings together the global feed and animal food community to deliver safe, affordable, and nutritious food for animals and people.” She added that the Federation would continue to champion innovation, feed safety, and sustainable food systems.

Vice-Chair Betancourt, President of the Brazilian Feed Industry Association (Sindirações), said he was honored by the election and eager to help strengthen IFIF’s global voice and collaboration across regions.

The General Assembly also appointed new members to IFIF’s Board of Directors, including representatives from leading companies such as Cargill, ADM, dsm-firmenich, Evonik, BASF, Adisseo, and Alltech, as well as national associations from the United States, Europe, China, India, Brazil, Canada, and Australia.

Executive Director Alexandra de Athayde congratulated the new leadership and praised outgoing Chair Ruud Tijssens for his strategic guidance and commitment, noting that his tenure solidified IFIF’s position as a global advocate for a safe, sustainable, and efficient feed industry.
