“Our Micronutrition & Health Solutions business is a culmination of our industry-leading capabilities across phytogenics, postbiotics, anti-mycotoxin agents, enzymes and other performance-enhancing nutrition solutions,” said Gilles Houdart, Global Head of Micronutrition & Health Solutions. “This investment allows us to work more safely, operate more efficiently and produce more sustainably.”

The expansion included six new silos, advanced automation covering 90% of labor in picking, mixing, and loading, and a container-lifting system equivalent to five times the height of Mount Everest each month. Worker safety measures include automated narrow aisle forklifts and noise-reducing unloading systems. Environmentally, the facility runs on 100% renewable energy, combining hydropower, solar panels, and biomass heating.

The Engerwitzdorf site reflects Cargill’s broader strategy to integrate science-based nutrition with sustainable operations, combining acquired expertise from Diamond V, Delacon, and Provimi into a unified portfolio that has achieved double-digit growth in recent years.
