The International Grain Trade Coalition Association (IGTC) has announced a significant leadership change, appointing Alejandra Castillo as President. In a statement, the association expressed confidence in Castillo's ability to lead the organization forward.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Castillo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. Having served as Regional Director for South Asia and Director of Global Programs, her extensive background positions her as a formidable leader within the international grain trade community.

The IGTC welcomed Castillo, highlighting her proven track record and dedication to the industry. Additionally, the association extended gratitude to outgoing President Gary C. Martin for his years of service and contributions.

Established in 2000 and formally recognized in 2014, the IGTC serves as a prominent advocate for stakeholders involved in the global trade of grain, oilseeds, pulses, and derived products. Comprising national and international trade associations, councils, and corporate stakeholders, the IGTC provides commercially driven advocacy and consensus-based solutions to address the needs of its members.
