Adisseo
has announced the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report, confirming the
successful achievement of its environmental reduction targets and outlining a
strategic shift toward data-driven transparency for the global feed value
chain.
Global feed additive leader Adisseo has officially published its 2025 Sustainability Report, marking a pivotal "milestone year" for the group. According to the report, the company has successfully met its primary environmental goals, including a 20% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emissions, a 12% decrease in energy intensity, and a 20% reduction in water usage compared to the 2020 baseline.
For the feed industry, the report highlights Adisseo's transition from internal operational efficiency to value-chain impact. A key development is the completion of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for products representing 95% of its sales. This allows feed formulators and livestock producers to calculate the precise environmental footprint of their diets, a critical requirement as the industry faces increasing pressure to reduce nitrogen and phosphorus excretion and lower the carbon intensity of animal protein.
Looking ahead, Adisseo is positioning itself at the forefront of regulatory compliance. The 2025 report serves as the final bridge before the company adopts the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) standards in 2026.
