Adisseo has cut its greenhouse gas intensity by 16%, already beating its 2025 target. The company’s new report outlines strides in renewable energy use, workplace safety, and ESG governance.

Adisseo, a global leader in feed additives, has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, announcing a 16% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) intensity—exceeding its 2025 goal a year early. This reduction is part of a broader strategy to embed sustainability across operations, including a notable increase in renewable electricity use, now reaching 24.4% of the company’s total consumption.

Water consumption intensity has also fallen to its lowest level in over a decade, reflecting the impact of long-term resource efficiency programs. The report emphasizes that these advances stem from “an integrated, long-term strategy with clear accountability and cross-functional collaboration.”

Safety remains a top priority for Adisseo, with the company reporting a Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) of 0.1—among the best in the industry. Diversity and inclusion efforts have also been bolstered, with nearly 40 countries and over 60 nationalities represented in its workforce.

At the governance level, ESG oversight is anchored by a Compliance & ESG Committee chaired by the CEO. The group coordinates closely with strategic and audit committees to align sustainability with core business decisions.

The report, according to the company, “reflects our purpose, grounded in science, shaped by collaboration, and driven by a long-term vision.”
