With our investment in the new facility, we are going to increase our capacity and expand our business areas. We import feed stuff of 45 thousand ton monthly. We sell broiler feed, cattle feed and fish feed. We send about 15 thousand ton of our monthly feed export to Iraq and Syria. We use 15 thousand ton, and sell the remaining part to the domestic market." said Yakup Katırlı, the owner of Tekkeli Gıda.

We export 80 percent of our production, and we sell 20 percent to the domestic market. We are exporting our products to more than 15 countries from Middle East and Far East. We aim to be the biggest exporter not only in Southeastern Anatolia Region, but also all over Turkey. The most important market for us is Iraq. Recently, we have established a relation with Israel. Due to H5N1 bird flu cases in the countries which make egg production, the value of Turkish eggs have increased, and Turkey even exports to countries that she competes in egg exports."
