According to the data announced by the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Turkey's compound feed production exceeded 27 million tons with a nearly 3% increase compared to the previous year.
Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry shared the statistics of compound feed production by species. Accordingly, the total compound feed production, which was 26.27 million tons last year, slightly exceeded 27 million with a 2.78% increase.
In the Alltech global compound feed report, it was stated that the global compound feed production reached 1,235 billion tons with a 2.3% increase. According to these figures, Turkey produced approximately 2.19% of the total production in 2021.
When the poultry feed figures, which are announced separately as broiler and laying feed, are added together, it reaches 9.2 million tons with an increase of 1%. When the cattle feed figures announced in two categories as fattening and dairy feed are added together, it reaches 13.13 million tons with an increase of 3%.
