At the recent member assembly of the DVT in Berlin, Cord Schiplage was reelected as president, reaffirming his commitment to leading the association for another term. "I am excited to tackle the diverse challenges facing our industry together with all DVT members and my colleagues in the presidency and board," he stated after his reelection.
The DVT's leadership team also includes Carolin Braun-Majer, Dr. Heinrich Kleine Klausing, and Dr. Bernhard Wesseling, who were all re-elected. In a notable change, Marie-Christine Thesing from ForFarmers Thesing has been appointed to the board, replacing Ernst Friedlaender, who retired due to age.
The board continues with notable figures such as Stefan Alius, Jürgen Aumann, Bernd Becker, Dr. Antje Eckel, and others. The DVT, as an independent economic association, advocates for the interests of companies involved in the production, storage, and trade of feed, premixes, and additives for livestock and pets, playing a vital role in the European feed industry.
