Pieter Bastiaanssen, the newly appointed General Manager of the Europe and Central Asia Business Unit at Trouw Nutrition, which operates in 105 countries with the mission of "Feeding the Future" and focuses on raising healthy farm animals, highlighted the company's confidence in Turkey and hinted at new project plans during his recent visit to the Konya factory.

With 14 years of experience at Trouw Nutrition, Pieter Bastiaanssen is poised to lead successful initiatives in his new role. He stated that their visit to Trouw Nutrition Turkey’s new factory in Konya allowed them to assess the current situation and explore investment opportunities, adding, “As Trouw Nutrition, with the support of Nutreco, we are determined to accelerate investment projects in Turkey, where we have a dedicated team and key clients, through the solutions and services we provide.”

Expressing her confidence in the team led by Bastiaanssen, Trouw Nutrition Turkey Country Manager Gonca Altıntaş said, “Pieter Bastiaanssen, who has successfully served in various positions within our company for 14 years, has elevated customer service to a highly successful level with a class-leading safety, quality, and cost model shaped by optimized process applications and a people development-focused approach. Following his visit, Pieter Bastiaanssen emphasized the important place the Turkish market holds in their global strategies, stating, “We thoroughly evaluated the current conditions by visiting the company’s new factory in Konya. As a result of our assessments, I expressed my support for investments to be made in Türkiye. In this context, while continuing our feasibility studies, we will further strengthen Türkiye’s strategic importance in the global market through our projects.”
