TMO ready for 2026 grain season with over 20 million tons of storage capacity
Turkish Grain Board (TMO) Chairman and General Manager Ahmet Güldal said at İDMA Istanbul 2026 that Türkiye could experience one of its highest grain production seasons in recent years. Noting that wheat production is estimated at 22.75 million tonnes and barley production at 9 million tonnes, Güldal underlined that TMO is strongly prepared for the new season with more than 600 procurement centres and storage preparations exceeding 20 million tonnes.

PRESS AWARD TO FEED PLANET IN IRAN

Feed Planet magazine is granted a press award in Tehran where it attended the 4th edition of FeedExpo, an Iranian exhibition on feed industry. Representing the magazine, Cemalettin Kanas, the editor-in-chief of Feed Planet, took the award from the hands of Mahdi Masoudi, the organizer of the exhibition.

Feed Planet magazine is living the pride of receiving a press award. The magazine is granted 2018 FeedExpo Awards on 13 of August. The awarding took place on the third and last day of the exhibition that was held in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Cemalettin Kanaş, the editor-in-chief of Feed Planet, took the award from the hands of Mahdi Masoudi, the organizer of the exhibition. Kanaş said, “I am so happy to receive this press award on behalf of Feed Planet and my team. I want to express that we share this pride with all contributors.” He also evaluated the fair in his speech and said, “In this organization, we had the chance to meet with the representatives of Iran feed industry and saw that this country has a great capacity to grow its economy.”

Masoudi, a young and successful Iranian entrepreneur, said: “We are happy to meet with such a press outlet covering everything about the feed industry through this organization.” Masoudi also pointed out that it is very important for the Iranian and Turkish industries to cooperate in every aspect.
