In line with this, Trouw Nutrition focuses on innovation and responds to farmers’ needs with solutions developed through its global leadership in calf milk replacers and strong R&D infrastructure. Sprayfo Ultimo, developed with the company’s patented technology, stands out as one of the most prominent examples of this approach. AN INNOVATIVE SOLUTION DEVELOPED WITH PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

Drawing attention to the scientific approach behind Sprayfo Ultimo and the company’s vision for innovation, Tanzer Kılcıoğlu, Commercial Director of Ruminant at Trouw Nutrition Türkiye, said: “Sprayfo Ultimo was developed with patented technology that addresses calf development not merely through nutritional requirements, but through a comprehensive scientific approach based on the natural structure of cow’s milk and its effects on calf growth. We transferred the scientific findings we obtained by researching the role of fatty acids in cow’s milk on calf digestive system development directly into our product technology. While setting Sprayfo Ultimo apart from standard milk replacers, this approach enabled us to deliver an innovative solution that supports the healthy development of calves.”

Stating that Trouw Nutrition is continuously expanding its R&D investments alongside Sprayfo Ultimo, Tanzer Kılcıoğlu added: “In addition to the strong R&D centers we already have, we recently incorporated a new calf research center into our organization. With this center, which we will open in October, we aim to take our scientific studies in calf nutrition to the next level. In the upcoming period, we will also take surprise steps to share the opportunities provided by this new structure with our sector through events and activities in the Netherlands.”

RUMINANT ACADEMY TO BRING SCIENCE AND THE SECTOR TOGETHER FOR THE 8TH TIME

Bringing Trouw Nutrition’s global expertise in calf nutrition together with industry professionals in Türkiye, the Ruminant Academy will take place for the 8th time between October 26–29, 2026. The academy will address current scientific approaches that enhance efficiency in ruminant farming, calf nutrition technologies, and innovations in the sector. Sprayfo Ultimo will also be among the highlighted topics of the event with its patented technology and contributions to the healthy growth of calves.
