The natural animal nutrition specialist Nor-Feed received its B-Corp label on September 17, 2024, recognizing its dedication to environmental and social responsibility. The B-Corp label is awarded by B-Lab, a non-profit organization, to companies that meet high standards in social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsibility.

Nor-Feed, based in France, has joined the global community of B-Corp certified companies, underscoring its commitment to balancing economic success with a positive impact on society and the environment. This recognition follows a two-year evaluation by B-Lab, the non-profit responsible for the certification. Nor-Feed’s ongoing initiatives, such as publishing life cycle analyses of its products, demonstrate its dedication to reducing the environmental footprint of animal production.

Since its founding in 2003, Nor-Feed has focused on using plant extracts derived largely from food industry co-products, minimizing the depletion of natural resources. The company’s natural feed additives aim to lower the use of synthetic substances like antibiotics and insecticides in animal diets. The company emphasizes commitment to innovation, transparency, and sustainability as central to its business model.
