Kayseri Tavukçuluk Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ (Kaytaş) started the construction of a chicken production facility in Yeşilhisar county of Kayseri province, one of the industrial and commercial hubs of the country. "Our investments in the last 5 years are aimed at increasing our egg production facilities in Yeşilhisar and increasing chicks output," said Ahmet Behiç Salt the general manager of the firm, which operates in the areas of egg, poultry, cattle feed and chick production and marketing. Stating they have invested in egg production and breeding chick production in the last 5 years, Salt went on as follows: "We have achieved our 2016 targets. We exported over $ 11 million. We put 60% of the production to the domestic market and 40% to the foreign markets. " Complaining about unplanned growth in production, Salt said that the domestic market could not absorb the production when exports stop.
