Gürsel Erbap becomes new chairman of HUBUDER

The Grain Suppliers Association (HUBUDER), which unites grain trade companies under one roof, elected its new leadership. Gürsel Erbap, the CEO of Doruk Un and a prominent figure in the sector, was appointed as chairman, succeeding Gülfem Eren.

The Grain Suppliers Association (HUBUDER) held its ordinary general assembly in Istanbul, where the new management team was elected. Gürsel Erbap, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Doruk Un, was appointed as the new chairman, succeeding Gülfem Eren.

At HUBUDER’s general assembly held in Istanbul, Pelin Özer Yağar, founder and managing partner of MPM GIDA, was elected vice chairman, while Buse Tellioğlu Altındiş, vice chairman of Tellioğlu Gıda, assumed the role of treasurer.

In his inaugural statement, Erbap emphasized HUBUDER’s mission of maximizing the potential of grain trade, enhancing international integration and competitiveness, and fostering robust collaboration between the public and private sectors.


Under Erbap’s leadership, HUBUDER has outlined short-, medium-, and long-term goals. These include addressing industry challenges to promote trade, effectively communicating sector needs to the public and relevant institutions, encouraging solidarity among members, and initiating projects targeting young and women farmers. Plans also include organizing sectoral study trips and workshops. Long-term objectives aim to establish a more institutional structure for HUBUDER, including a new headquarters in Istanbul equipped with a laboratory and training center for the benefit of its members.
