Future animal feeding methods discussed at AgriVision 2021

AgriVision global conference was held with international participation from 89 countries, including Turkey. In the virtual event, the next 10-year projection for a sustainable planet and healthy future generations was discussed.

The AgriVision global conference, which has been bringing together the players of the agriculture and food industry since 2000, was held virtually this year for the first time in its history. In the event, which was held with the theme of "Future Matters", what needs to be done in the next 10 years for the sustainability of the planet and the healthy development of future generations were discussed.

In the light of more than 100 years of experience, in AgriVision 2021, sponsored by Nutreco, which works within the framework of the mission of "Feeding the Future", and the animal nutrition company Trouw Nutrition operating under its roof, it was underlined that to feed the world population in a sustainable way in 2050 and beyond, it is necessary to take action now and accelerate change by being transformative and collaborative at every stage of the value chain. The event program was gathered under three titles: Under the title of Understanding, there were talks on sustainable agricultural trade and health. The Experience title allowed participants to explore solutions for circular food systems and precision feeding. As part of the Impact topic, virtual mastership classes were held at the farm of the future.

More than 2 thousand people attended the event, in which 22 speakers from 89 countries took part, including board-level managers in food and agriculture businesses, influential public officials, and NGO representatives, promising new initiatives and renowned academics.
