dsm-firmenich, a global leader in health, nutrition, and beauty, opened a new animal nutrition production plant in Sete Lagoas, Brazil, on October 17. The facility is designed to produce 100,000 tons of supplements annually, primarily for beef and dairy cattle.
Mauricio Adade, President of dsm-firmenich Latin America, emphasized the significance of Minas Gerais for agribusiness, saying, "This plant brings us closer to our customers and strategic partners, allowing us to deliver innovative solutions more efficiently."
With 12,000 square meters of built space, the new plant will serve Minas Gerais and other Southeast states, with expansion planned for the Midwest and Northeast regions by 2025. dsm-firmenich's advanced technologies, including AI-driven platforms like Lore and FarmTell™, are set to revolutionize livestock farming.
